Ayutthaya - Bang Pa-In Palace

The Bang Pa-In Summer Palace was built as a residence by King Phra Srisanpetch V, and occupied by many Ayutthaya kings.
Ayutthaya - Phra Mongkonbophit

The large Buddha image known as Phra Mongkhonbophit (c. 1538) was moved here in 1610 in a mandapa ordered built by King Songtham
Ayutthaya - Wat Mahathat

Construction begain in 1374 but completed 15-20 years later; restoration took place in both the 17th and 18th centuries.
Ayutthaya - Wat Phra Si Sanphet

The royal palace was located here from 1350 - 1448. A wat was ordered built on this site in 1448 to be utilized as a monastic area.
Ayutthaya - Wat Yai Chaimongkol

Built in 1357. The large chedi (tower) was built by King Naresuan the Great to commemorate his victory against the Burmese in 1592.
